Introduction: Yaiselyn Estrella Carreón

  • My name is Yaiselyn Estrella Carreón and I live in Loma Linda, California with my husband and seven month old baby boy. I currently work as an occupational therapist in the skilled nursing setting in Yucaipa, California. I am in the PPOTD program. One of my favorite things to do is to explore new places and try new vegan foods. One of my favorite places to explore is Los Angeles because they have so many vegan options. Something about myself is that I make it a habit to communicate with my family everyday. By doing so I always feel supported, and it allows me to keep pushing forward. After having my baby and having a really difficult time during postpartum, I feel like I am so much more interested in learning about women's health. I feel like I need to educate myself more in this area not only because I am a women but also because I have patients that I would be able to better serve if I do.
